JOB
DESCRIPTION (Hotel Supervisor)
Ø
Supervises
implementation of roles of subordinate staff working in the
Restaurant and Lodge: receptionist, waiter, cleaners,
store-keeper and guards.
Ø
Covers
receptionist, waiter and cashier roles if/when necessary.
Ø
Receives guests
and shows them to their accommodation. Gives explanations on
project concept, objectives, current situation, history,
facilities and services to guests.
REQUIREMENTS
Ø
Honesty and dependability.
Ø
High level of motivation (hard working);
willing to work flexible and un-usual hours and challenging
conditions!
Ø
English language competency and willingness
to learn new lingua.
Ø
Ability to deal with people in a firm but
gentle way, relentlessly persist with enforcement of
standards, to communicate with those that are poor in, or
lack English altogether through demonstration/careful
explanation, and never allow them to lapse into negligence!
Ø
Working experience in a relevant role in a
similar sort of environment.
Ø
Ability to operate in an environment where
honesty is not assumed as the norm and all transactions need
to be checked and balanced carefully.
Ø

SALARY
Ø
US$200/month
(equivalent in local currency) + food and accommodation +
possible internet usage 1/2hr per day (if established on
site in time).
CONTRACTUAL TERM
Ø
6 moths to 1
year with 3 month probational period.
